Mutant Millet Teacher Training

On August 2nd, the Danforth Center held its first in person teacher training since the start of the pandemic. Teachers joined us to learn about one of our ARE projects, Mutant Millets.

Teachers had the opportunity to experience hands-on training through the identification of different mutations within the Setaria viridis plant as well as practice the data collection process.

We look forward to implementing this project with new teachers this fall.
